Life is a pretty good gig and I choose to enjoy it as much as possible (I am prone to sudden dance moves). I don't think I've ever been high maintenance and would never ask for anything I couldn't do for myself. And none of my photos are more than 2 years old.
Things I can't live without are: common courtesy toward everyone, fresh air and the sound of the waves meeting the shore, a view of the mountains, the music my children make, my dog's cold nose first thing in the morning, old architecture, color, kissing, animals, (not kissing animals- geesh), hot Toll House chocolate chip cookies, Billie Holiday, puppy breath, flowers, precious stones, semi-precious stones... I don't wear logos, especially across my behind region (it wasn't put there to become a billboard), and nothing good has ever come from wearing faux leopard.
Can we just agree right now that nothing should come after blu-ray because I'm tired of changing out my movies...
I have a very close relationship with my two adult children- my daughter just completed her masters and is living on her own (saving the world one building at a time). My son lives at home, works hard and volunteers as a youth mentor.... ticking clock 'til this one's out... then the locks get changed. They're good people...
