I've raised all of my kids and am finally an empty nester...I think I am supposed to feel a little sad about that, but it really is kind of nice after spending so many years being focused on their lives and activities. Two of them live on the west coast, which played a major role in my decision to move out of the Windy City.
I enjoy traveling and have been to Europe and SE Asia a few times. Thailand would have to be my favorite place to visit...the culture, the people and the sites are spectacular. Despite being a Midwest girl, I'm not too fond of cold weather (unless I am in front of a fireplace with a glass of wine) but seeing Alaska and hiking around Denali, a relaxing few weeks of Sun and Sand in Bora Bora and a trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights are also on my "to-do" list..
In the meantime, working within the healthcare field and having a positive impact on hundreds of lives every single day keeps me amazingly happy.
