Date a soulmate from California, United States. I have been retired for about a year, and am thoroughly enjoying my new life. I keep active, but I do have room in my life for a partner. I don't know if 'Mr. Right' exists, but it would be great to spend time with a funny, caring, intelligent man. And, of course, it would be even better if he enjoyed weekend getaways, golfing, cooking, gardening, exercise and (my guilty pleasure) watching TV (just DVR'd programs, thank you very much!).
I do have a couple of 'deal breakers': height is a must - I'm 5'9" and feel most comfortable with a taller partner (5'11" or taller). I'm sure there are some awesome shorter guys out there, but at this stage in my life, I know what works for me, and what doesn't.
I also would like someone within an hour's drive - what's the point in a long distance relationship?
Guess that's it for now. But you know the women always has the prerogative to change her mind :)
