Date a soulmate from California, United States. Hi... Okay, this is who I'm looking for.... Someone who wants to travel, go to Europe, cycle in Italy, France, Spain or any other beautiful spot. I'm looking for someone that wants to go to Hawaii and enjoy the beautiful sunsets together. I travel every year to Europe to visit my sister and her family and it would be nice to share my travels and experiences with someone special. I'm a romantic at heart...I'm looking for that one special person. Someone to share a great love affair with..that lasts a life time and the chemistry never ends. Someone who is my love and my friend. Someone I can trust, depend on, share my thoughts with and share life's ups & downs with. In return, I'll be right there giving back. I'm looking for someone that is fun, outgoing, likes to do things, go places, travel and experience new adventures, someone who likes to go to the movies, theater, museums, art exhibits, concerts & sporting events. Someone who enjoys staying home, listening to music and sharing a bottle of wine or just watching a good movie curled up on the couch together. I have high morals & values. I believe honesty, trust and respect are key in a relationship. Once that is gone, the magic of a relationship is lost. I believe in a healthy lifestyle. I don't do drugs and don't want to be with someone that does. I drink on a social basis only. I cherish my friends and family. To have true friends you have to be a true friend. As far as my family, I never take them for granted, we are a close knit family and we are always there for each other. I believe that each day is special and I think it's important to let the person I'm involve with know that they are part of that day. I truly believe that the most important person in your life is the one you share it with.
I live a simple life, I work, workout, take vacations, eat healthy and try to enjoy each day. Thank you for reading my profile and if you think we might be a match wink or write :)
Meet someone special from California, United States. I am adventurous, but not a daredevil; creative, but have common sense; active, but not obsessed; romantic, but practical; positive, but realistic; honest, but not cruel; independant, but sometimes lonely; passionate, and compassionate. I love animals, travel, nature, and to laugh.
I am happy with my life, and easy-going by nature. I have a good social circle, and I stay busy. Still, it would be nice to have someone special to share life, laughter, and love.
I take chances. Not long ago, I sold my house, quit my job, bought a motorhome, and traveled around the country and Baja. It was the best experience of my life. Now I am back from the road and enjoying being back in the Bay Area.
I'm looking for a positive, friendly, honest, kind, playful, active guy who is adventurous, loves to travel, the outdoors, animals, is passionate, and compassionate. If he likes to cook, that would be a HUGE bonus! I would like to find someone in the SF East Bay, so please, no long distance contact.
Date a woman from California, United States. How do I describe myself? Hmmm…I think I’m fairly smart, maybe a little more than average. I tend to see the humor in life’s ironies. Most days I see the glass as half full, although from time to time it might need to be topped off. I suppose we all have days like that, don’t we?
I detest drama. I’ve been told by more than one ex that they kept waiting for the crazy she –devil to come out, but she never did. I’m actually pretty normal. I always say, “leave the drama at the door”. Mine is a drama free zone.
I try to keep fit and I run a few times a week. I have always been active but now that IРІР‚в„ўve hit the half century mark it is even more important, not just for my physical health but for my sanity. I have come to appreciate the way my head clears after a good run. ItРІР‚в„ўs like emptying the overflow.
In 1995 I moved here from the east coast and started over from scratch. I like to say it was an early midlife crisis. I needed to do something different, change my life and get away from the cold winters. San Francisco seemed like a good fit, and I lived in the city for the first few years. I kept waiting to have the love affair with the city but it just didnРІР‚в„ўt happen, and when I had the opportunity to move to the east bay I took it and never looked back.
Oh, I cook, too. IРІР‚в„ўm actually a non-practicing pastry chef, went to school and everything! One of the advantages of my career is that IРІР‚в„ўve spent a lot of time in kitchens and around chefs and IРІР‚в„ўve learned a few tricks. I can hold my own in the kitchen, although my knife skills are pretty non-existent.
As for dating, I like being in a relationship. I am affectionate, I like to touch and be touched, and I enjoy doing things and planning little surprises for my man. That said, I donРІР‚в„ўt really have any interest in casual dating. IРІР‚в„ўm not looking for an activity partner or a friend with benefits. Of course I realize that relationships start out casually, and my hope is that I will meet someone who will become my best friend and ultimately, my husband. If that isnРІР‚в„ўt a path that you see for yourself then you probably arenРІР‚в„ўt the right man for me. IРІР‚в„ўd rather be honest about what I want from the start then have it come as a surprise to someone a few months down the road. That doesnРІР‚в„ўt mean that IРІР‚в„ўm on a mission to get married; IРІР‚в„ўd rather be single than in an unhappy relationship. But IРІР‚в„ўm not looking to invest my heart in something that doesnРІР‚в„ўt have a chance for a future. Ideally, you feel the same way.
I should also say that I'm not a fan of the long distance relationship. I want to be close enough to be spontaneous and invite you to meet me for a drink or dinner after work (and vice versa).
I'm also not a big fan of the wink. It feels like the burden is then on me to start the conversation, indicating a lack of confidence. Men, take note...confidence = attractive!
