Meet someone special from California, United States. I am more likely to be reserve at first, but once I open up and share I am a person with many sides to me. I enjoy seeing others happy and when I see other reach their goals in life it brings me much joy. I need laughter in my life and I do appreciate struggles in life because you learn how tough you truly are during difficult times. I enjoy good company and sharing a cold beer or fine wine or a nice hot cup of coffee. I'm looking for a mannered man, who care about his health and doesn't have to have all the answers. A man who can be himself so that I can be the woman that I am. I'm known for being candor which I would hope a man would appreciate. I'm active individual and yet can be a couch potato especially when it's raining and cold. I'm passionate about learning about so many things in life.I love the beach, water, sunbathing , anything that brings me closer to a natural state.
Date a woman from California, United States. Moving to Pasadena on/around 7/29. I'm first generation American. My Dad was a physician and my Mom a teacher, both from Sicily, Italy. I was married for 16 years to a really good man. It's been a few years now and I miss being in love. Being in a healthy relationship, loved and returning that love, having a special person who really cares about you and helps you be a better person, and believe it or not, at times, looked after at some level (I'd be lieing if I didn't say I love it when a man cooks! I like cleaning up so it all evens out... ) But, of course, it's the companionship and trust that you have with that one individual that I miss most. Truthfully, living alone has had it's benefits but I'm beginning to realize I prefer being a couple. I am not like many women, some even my friends, that seem bitter from a past relationship(s). I think the majority of men out there are kind, good and worth exploring a relationship with as long as the basic attractions are there. I believe there must be chemistry for more to follow. The man I am looking for will know who he is, strong but kind, content but looking for that missing piece, playful, and most importantly, enjoy being with his significant other more than just about anything else. However, I do know that many men have children that take a priority at times, and this is what I would expect of a good man, a good father. I am drawn to the above attributes but also realize that I need to open the door to other personalities, other good attributes in a man and a mate.
I have a 27 year old son who my heart. He lives in Illinois where he is in University studing to be a mechanical engineer. We went the pilot route to start with (that was a mistake) and now he is finally realizing that an education and career are very important to be content and able to do what you like to do (like flying) in addition to a profession that one is passionate about. One thing for sure, he has taught me what boundless love is all about.
I have done the full exploration in nursing and am currently the Director of Surgical Services at a well respected medical center in the San Diego area. I have just started this new position; they really needed someone to come in hittin' the ground running. I may return to the C-suite in the future but for now, I am content being in the area of nursing that has also been my passion...Surgery.
I like to stay active although working long hours makes it a goal I must work on everyday; walks, bike rides at any time!I have a sister in NY and a brother in No CA. I am the youngest and the only one that went into the medical field. My sister is an artist and my brother owns his own construction company.
There is so much more (apparently 639 characters) but I will leave that for a conversation or a meeting. I hope you have enjoyed a little bit about me.
I guess, lastly, I don't believe in judging a book by it's cover. I hope the man that reads this and possibly responds feels that there is more to a person than a pretty face or a cut body... Have a great day/night!
Oh, I should also say that I like a man who is witty, follows the news, doesn't mind talking about politics, religion, controversial issues; one that can get another's perspective; continue to communicate/love one another.
**Regardless of my political view, I have loved the opposite!
