So, I will tell you what my friends say about me (with some editorializations): I am beautiful but I don't know it (beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.) I am smart but I think everyone is smart (I'm always learning from other people.) I am spunky and feisty (haha, my favorites!) I am compassionate (I rarely turn down an opportunity to volunteer for a worthy cause.) I think of other people before I think of myself (I'm blessed to be surrounded by people who do the same for me.) I am a great mom (according to my sons.) I am an artist and art teacher. I love to write. I am a huge sports fan...mainly basketball, baseball, and football. I thoroughly enjoy watching my sons or the special man in my life participating in a sport that's their passion. Having sons has helped me develop a strong interest in things like cars, sports, and grocery bills. So, I can talk about a variety of subjects...and I have excellent money management skills. :)
I am attracted to a thinking man who is athletic and/or artistic and doesn't take himself too seriously. A great sense of humor, confidence, and wisdom gleaned from life are some of the most attractive qualities that a man can possess. Great biceps, broad shoulders, and washboard abs are a plus... kidding...kind of. lol :)
I appreciate a man who is honest, who can be flexible, and who is generous in spirit. If you are set in your ways and unwilling to compromise about things, minor or major, then I'm not the woman for you. But, if you can compromise, then I will meet you at least half-way.
Love, just like life, doesn't follow a plan and isn't always convenient. What a shame it is when two people are crazy about each other but allow obstacles to prevent them from being together. I'd rather have something amazing that's far away rather than settle for something that's mediocre but convenient. I suppose I'm a hopeless romantic. I believe that love conquers all. If it's meant to be, love will find a way...and that's where the ability to compromise comes in.

I am fun loving, easy going and thankful for all I have in my life. Two great kids, one in college and one a senior in high school. Love my job and enjoy the outdoors. Cycling is my passion but am willing to try pretty much anything as it expands my life and brings new things to do.
I love to laugh and think my glass is pretty much always full regardless of the situation, there's just too much to be grateful for in life.
I'd like to meet someone who loves the outdoors as well. Ideally someone who likes to road bike although I do have a mountain bike as well, just not as into it as the road bike. Just completed the 2012 Death Ride which was a huge accomplishment for me and has motivated me to try some bigger and better things.
I think if there is a connection, it should be taken a step at a time. Pretty much low key and getting to know each other with no pressure on either end. If it's right you know it without trying to make things happen.

. I'll always have a big smile on my face no matter what, it's just who I am. I have traveled to many lands and seen so many sunsets and wonderful pictures I never have to watch the travel channel and I have my next vacation already scoped out. Who I am, diverse and like to do many different things. Know the difference between the sensible shoes and the not so sensible ones of which I have to many. I'm a mom of two boys so I really don't get the drama of girls other than it sends teen boys to the crazy zpne and that's about all the drama I can handle.
I prefer to be active and have started hiking, I'm still alive so that means I can find my way home or just follow the person ahead of me and hope they don't wander aimlessly, ha ha.. GPS, got to love it. Next interest is zip linning and kayaking. Watching the sun set over the water is one of my favorites. Disneyland when the crowds are few, one of my very favorite things to do in the winter months. People watching while sitting on a park bench makes you wonder what were they thinking when they stepped out in that getup. I would also like to explore the US, roadtrips here I come, camera packed, check. Learning to take better pictures, filling this site with the wonders I encounter. Next are beach and cliff shots and possibly a higher power camera.
Love my garden, provides me with the ability to make my own sauces and herbed delites.

Independent, but need that sholder to cry on when I get emotional about those animal commercials, just can't imagine how cruel someone could be. Must love dogs. Unconditional love is the best...Always discovering new music, latest is Il Volo even though I don't understand all the words of a foriegn language their sound is wonderful. Hate drama, not good for the soul.. Looking for that captivating smile, athletic in some sort of way, no couch potatoes, occasionally that can happen though as a good movie(s) and lots of suggling can keep us there. Looking for someone that knows communication, honesty and respect are important in any relationship. Sharing thoughts, ideas, that special touch, holding hands. Always remebering a soft kiss and those special things you do just because will melt a womans heart (cooking together rates high on my list) and if you still look good in your 501's that's a plus. Oh, and did I mention, a great smile is a wonderful thing!
