Meet a woman from California, United States. I just finished nursing school!! I work part-time as a massage therapist in a high end resort I am a single mom of 2 teenage boys. Although my life is very busy it would be nice to spend some time with someone special. I'm not looking for my knight in shining armor; I've realized I have to be my own KISA, but it would be great to have someone to slay dragons with, or just have a glass of wine and talk about the day.
I love the outdoors and like to be active; I like a good workout. I am sort of an endorphin junkie.
I used to be a competitive athlete (running, cross-country skiing, cycling), now I do these things for fun if I can (not running-too hard on my body!).
I love to read and go to bookstores and browse; now that l am done with school I have been reading all the books I couldn't, so it's been great.. I like to go to movies, or just watch movies at home; its a nice escape.
I love music; my collection is pretty diverse-acoustic singer/songwriters, classic alternative, some country, reggae, ... depends on my mood. NO new age- I get enough of that at work.
I'm excited about my change of vocation- it will be nice to have a steady paycheck, and to be challenged. I would like to work in an ER, or in a medical surgical unit. One of my goals is to experience working with a group like Partners in Health, or Doctors Without Borders when my boys are older.
I love my sons and enjoy spending time with them. The older one is in sports, and I love watching his games and meets. The younger one is kind of a couch potato (where did he come from?) so we end up doing more couch potato "friendly" things. I don't watch alot of t.v., but I enjoy watching The Colbert Report or the Jon Stewart show on occasion, or watching ridiculous videos with my sons on Attack of the Show or Tosh.O. My youngest is quite the movie buff so we end up watching quite an eclectic variety,
I love to laugh, and have fun and be goofy. I can be little on the dark and sarcastic side, I get that from my dad.
I'm looking for someone who will be patient with my current situation. I am more comfortable in jeans than dresses, but I clean up nicely. I want to laugh, relax, and have someone to do outdoorsy things with.
