I loved my job at Hughe's Aircraft my title was Secretary/Senior Clerk . I was the Chief Clerical Support to an office full of very Fussy Techs and Engineers. I worked there right up to the birth of my daughter. Lol looking back it was like I was a Nanny even bebore I became a Mommy!
Previous to Hughes I worked for a temp agency filling in as a Receptionist for various companies including: Panasonic, Clarion, and Merle Norman.
I was surprised to discover I am most happy being a stay at home Mom. Was this harder than going to the office? YES that is why all my friends thought I was Crazy! It was important I raise my kids with my values and was fortunate to be able to do so.
I wanted to be where I was needed most. The hardest part about staying home was I missed the friends and co-workers I left when I quit.
My biggest joy was making a home. I worked hard balancing our budget, being everything to my children so my ex would have no worries, This included being Taxi, Tutor, Doctor, Nurse, Referee, Maid, and Cook = Stay At Home Mom!
I also did my best to have dinner ready when my spouse came home. I am also somewhat of a Health Nut so I was watchful of our diets. While I do enjoy cooking I admit I loved eating out as well...that way there were no dishes for me to wash! Lol
I love to cook and it fills my heart with joy when I see them enjoying the dishes I slaved over! Whatever they want to eat I try to make it possible! To me there is nothing more comforting than coming home to a hot meal, clean house, and of course, Me! The rewards were well worth the effort when I'd see the smiles on their faces! I enjoy giving them something to look forward to at the end of a busy day! Most of the time I cook very healthy, I also like to experiment with the comfort foods I grew up with to see how I can make these dishes healthy without sacrificing the Yum!
I am a nurturer by nature and love to show my affection through lots of pampering. Hoping the one I meet will want to pamper me in return.
After my divorce I went back to school passed my State Boards and Clinicals to obtain my CNA License. My main focus was nursing home/hospice care. I also worked for a very brief time with Dimensia Patients.
Another fascination of mine is acting and theatre! I attended acting classes for 5 years in the evenings. The Film Industry Workshops were across the street from CBS Studios we were given clearance to use the various sound stages to perform our craft. I did appear in 1 Pilot Sitcom It was called, The Rose City Cafe a spin off of, Grace Under Fire.
I had to put all auditions on hold when my kids started needing more of my time. Family is #1.
About the Nisei Princess Title:I am Sansei but was nominated to Run for Miss Nisei Week Queen in 1986..
I was also nominated to run for Miss VFW in Gardena.
I am happy my kids are following my example where Exercise and Fitness are concerned. We are all BeachBody Junkies! LOVE P90X, Insanity, Asylum, ChaLean, Love Shakeology! I also enjoy taking long walks. Living near the beach has it's advantages
I Love ALL Animals especially Dogs! Tobi is our latest rescue and he fills the house with love! I also have a Lovebird named, Lilikoi he's an older bird and he's very sweet. I also used to ride horses a lot with my sister.
I look forward to travel now that I will be an Empty Nester! My daughter is 22 studying Cosmotology and my son is 19 and will be leaving to attend UCSF he wants to be a Pharmacist.
There is much more but I will save that for when we meet....

I usually enjoy relaxing alone, reading or on the computer, and a little TV (i.e., 'occasional' vs year-round sports--prefer them live--plus a few NON-reality shows) when I'm not sharing a variety of fun times and good food with a few close friends and my large family (incl. many kid's events with lots of nieces and nephews). No time to cook or be very domestic, so that's not a priority for me--later on, it might be fun (with someone who wants to help) but not while I commute to and from work every day!
