I also like the timeless drum of the surf to call me to slumber at night. I like reading the morning paper with coffee ... Newsweek at lunch and I carry my Kindle around like a passport... my immediate transporter to places and times I've never been. I like going to the gym, plugging in my iPod and revving up my body to the sounds of Phoenix, Lifehouse and Journey. I like the feeling of walking home from the gym, my heart pumping and my senses alive with the sights and smells of the ocean. I like sharing meals, and the chivalry of paying for them. I like equal rights, equal pay and hate bigotry of any kind. I enjoy banter, philosophy, quick witted exchanges and salty talk, when appropriate. I love bumping into my son in the middle of the day, a smirk on his face with a tilted ball cap and sunshine on his nose. He's 19; and, he makes me laugh like he did when he was 2. I like music at Humphreys and I enjoy my work, both the challenge and the sacrifice. I'm lonely sometimes, but I'm okay with that ... being alone makes me sometimes appreciate when I'm not. Meet a man from California, United States. Easy going and hard working career guy. Travel when I can, good food and wine, watching sports, taking walks and hiking is what I like to do. I used to play a lot of softball, camping, hiking, racquetball, and white water rafting. Slowing my pace a bit after going strong for the first 50 plus. I plan to be here for the long haul!
