Moving back to Redding/Red Bluff after 31 years away... back in August-October probably unless someone locally totally 'grabs me' first. First thing, the light beard is a recent indulgence - gone today and primary pic newest - the whiskers they are short-lived, historically, unless that really floats your boat. Hmmm... let me try to help this section by example and history - vice 'what I am' - so you can weed me out of your potential line-up if necessary. A bit of a loner without a sidekick... lean toward creative thinkers, open-minded people, nature lover here, arts and adrenaline. Career used to rule the day until I permitted much of the vibrancy to get sucked out of life by giving too much self for bureaucracy. Lucky to be father of a cool daughter, and on good terms with her mother. Can mix with all crowds but choose not to hang with the jerks. Mellow, with a fire inside, fairly successful from drive and ambition - seen much - done enough moving around - and returning to the best location, more creative focus, less 'career' and more 'life'. I can visit Ballet or Boardroom, but will take a Farm over France - want a good friend with mutual chemistry that has desire to, uh, play well together (and I socialize as long as that does not consume the other living to be done, like time preparing for that jam session with Keith Richards, or if he isn't available, some other musician that wants to jam ). I laugh easily, clean up nicely, get dirty easily, fall off horses and wish I didn't (still like being around most) have had enough of bureaucracy and bumper-to-bumper traps, support the Occupy Wallstreet Movement because even though I have had cocktails afterhours at NYSE, I've also been a victim of corruption and greed in the financial system and fight for a return to better ethics and oversight so we can all play by the same rules. Put the crackheads in rehab and make room for a few more financial market criminals. Think we should start a movement to RECRUIT someone you know to replace the losers in D.C., am an old-fashioned Capitalist with enough worldliness to have found great value in helping or supporting social, societal, civilized needs of my fellow humans while resisting tyrants and narcissistic extremists and unchecked corporate influence. I'd still like to own another muscle car, but don't need to. I am a guy. (Did read 'Women are from Venus...', yada yada) Grew up in 4-H clubs and FFA, love a county fair, but got busted for bringing a six pack in to go with our pizza at the state leadership conference I got selected to attend. But that WAS a few years ago :-)
