Like to bike ride and take my dogs out, walk the beach, snow ski (used to do this all the time, it has been a couple of years but would love to get back into the sport), concerts, dinning out, cooking (I was a chef in my part, in my 20's), movies, reading.
My Dogs are very friendly and loving. If you don’t like animals then we would never work. Just like children they need love and attention too.
I do love to travel when time permits like weekend trips to Vegas, San Diego or San Francisco. I really would love to visit Greece and Italy have not had the chance to do so.
I love Sunday mornings with a fresh cup of coffee and the paper. I enjoy a great glass of red wine from Merlot to Pinot Noir (Amateur Expert), a Nice thick streak, Bluepoint Oysters and a Caesars Salad (If dessert fits, Chocolate Please!) every once in a while.

Meet someone special from United States. It's hard to write about myself without sounding as though I'm trying to sell some new and improved laundry detergent. So while I can't promise that I'll make your "whites whiter" or your "brights brighter", I can promise that I'm sincere in looking for a committed relationship. I have many incredible qualities that I'm sure you'll find enchanting--I just can't think of any of them right now. I prefer Letterman over Leno, red wine over white, diet coke over diet pepsi, boxers over briefs and sunsets over sunrises (who wants to wake up that early anyway??). I enjoy running, hiking, cooking, biking, kayaking, snorkeling, music and spicy food (but not all at the same time). I don't like cream sauces, lima beans, sour cream or anything labeled "fat free" (it's just a nicer way of saying "tastes like dirt"). Also, I can use the words "to" "too" and "two" correctly in a sentence not to mention "your" and "you're" (but I still struggle with "who" and "whom"). I feel extremely fortunate that I have two terrific grown children, some wonderful friends and being self employed with a career that I truly enjoy. My kids are 19 and 25 and I'm very close to both of them. However I'm not looking for a mother for them---the one they have does a really good job. I'm 56, 6ft tall (without shoes on!) and have more hair growing on my head than on my back I'm passionate about what's important to me....my kids, friends, career and living my life by the Golden Rule ("he who has the gold, rules"---oops, no not that one--I meant the other one....you know, the "do unto others" one). I should also mention that I may be only person on Match who is not a skier. Even though I grew up in the snowy mountains of Pennsylvania, it's something that I never got around to learning.....and at this point in my life, I'm perfectly happy without doing so. It's wonderful if you do but I just don't see the fun in hauling a ton of warm clothing and equipment on a trip, bundling myself up like an Eskimo and then tumbling down a frozen mountain while breaking several bones in the process--give me some place warm and tropical anytime! I really do think the simpler things in life are the most worthwhile....laughing with friends and family, great conversations, cooking dinner together, sharing a bottle of wine, going for a bike ride, walk or hike together. I'm about to become an empty-nester and for the first time in 20 years, I don't need to stay in the Irvine area. I love Southern California and have businesses all over. It's a lot of fun having the freedom to move and have been checking out North San Diego County, Pasadena, the South Bay and Huntington Beach
