Date someone special from California, United States. I have a real hard time trying to write about myself. I see a lot of profiles from ladies looking for honesty and integrity. So, here's my open and honest "about me" and who I seek.
I am a Certified Athletic Trainer by profession for about 17 years. Just took early retirement from the CSU system, as I got burned out with all the hours involved. Still love the profession, but just needed some me time. Probably will look into getting back into the profession or something similar if the opportunity arises. I still lecture at the local University. For now just enjoying the lack of stress and freedom to go out and ride my mountain bike. I am in really good shape with all the mountain biking that I do, and am often a surprise to many when they discover my DOB.
Partly because of my past work commitments I have not paid attention to my personal life. I am in search of a serious relationship, and can provide a mature, secure commitment, which may involve kids or not if the relationship is right.
I genuinely desire to become involved in a mutually loving relationship. I am capable of being the person that can provide attention, security and the needs of a similar minded lady. I am a very open and honest person, I'm sensitive, loyal. I have a somewhat off the wall British sense of humor, and may be regarded as a bit old fashioned. Additionally, will talk a lot if I'm nervous. Love a good craft beer and also enjoy wine and cold sake, all accompanied by good food. Not much I don't like.
I seek a female companion that wants to share movies, walks on the beach, other outdoor activities, and develop an honest, fun, and as close relationship as two people can experience. Someone who wishes to take the intitiative from time to time, and is as supportive of me as I will be of her. However, I am also happy to spend quiet time together on the couch
