Date a soulmate from California, United States. Floating an updraft in a sailplane and slipstreaming a Redtail. Powered aerobatics in a WWII trainer. Breaking trail in 3' of new snow on XC skis. Alpine skiing blindfolded (on one leg) so that I could understand the communication needs of the blind skiers that I desired to guide in the "handicapped" club. Hiking the Sierra backcountry through towering granite. A dawn stroll in the locals, stopping to spy the lacey frost on the quietly gurgling creek; todays pathway softened by the fall of yesterdays sheltering shade. Swimming open-ocean off Lana'i in a pod of about a hundred spinner dolphins, floating silently and motionless as they sing and jump all about, grinning hard and sucking salt past the mouthpiece. Sunrise from the summit of Haleakala, or a sunrise anywhere, for that matter. Skipping the sunrise and staying in bed till noon and savoring the unity. An evening at the Greek, or UA, or the theater. A grand gourmet meal, kitchen duties shared, and enjoyed by soft light and softer music and an even more soft kisses. Pizza and champagne (yep, it's good) on the floor leaning against the sofa and a DVD on the big screen LCD. The joyous scampering bounding leaping twisting joy of my kitties who know that life here will be as good as it can be. Deep, serious, articulate discussions. Witty and playful banter. Joy, laughter, communication; knowing that your mate understands, as you have stated and he has listened. Quality is the constant. Sentient awareness and appreciation of all of life's blessings, from the most awesome roar of the looping trainer as it powers over the top, to the peacefulness of a lap full of cats in front of the fireplace. I DO NOT still do ALL of the activities listed above (alpine skiing, flying sailplane aerobatics), due to the changes of aging (and my files at my orthopedic and neuro surgeons), yet my passion for living never ebbs. Transitions bring wisdom, so long as one caresses the moment, no matter how glorious or difficult...

For my education, I attended USC and was part of a national championship baseball team in 1978. I suppose because of my sports background, I tend to have a positive attitude along with an outgoing personality. Probably also why I started a business 17 years ago.
I have always loved to travel abroad or domestic. I have been fortunate to have traveled thru Mexico, China, Canada, Europe and Japan. So having said that.....I am also very blessed for being able to grow up in Southern California. I enjoy biking, water sports, tennis, the gym and the outdoors.
