You may think I am reserved until I get to know you a little bit, but if we are a fit, all communication (including that related to emotions) will flow easily. I do admit to being somewhat laid-back, however.
I am looking for someone to share a similar view of the world, as well as plans, trips and everyday joys and (rare) disappointments. Someone who can't wait to see me at the end of the day (or middle of the day) as much as I can't wait to see her. I was married for 23 years and there was just too much missing from that relationship, but I have a wonderful 17 year-old daughter and 15 year-old son as a result. I would like to be in the top two priorities of a woman I am in a relationship with!
When I moved out of the house, I moved onto my boat and I love it so much that I don't plan to move as long as I'm single. Hope you don't think that's strange (the boat is nicer than most houses, so I'm not suffering too much).
One more note... If you plan to vote for Obama in the upcoming election, I'm sure you are a wonderful person, but we have entirely different views of the role of government in peoples' lives, and it may be a source of great friction between us.
