Date a man from La Verne, United States. Hi! How realistic is it to adequately describe yourself in a little box.... Its been 24 years since I last dated, and some part of this feels vulnerable in a strange way.. lol. I try to find humor in most things, and it feels a little unnatural talking about myself and who might be right for me. I have been thinking about this for a while and I guess I'm supposed to write a bunch of colorful objectives that would intrigue, inspire, and compel someone to be interested in me... well, I'm a little old fashion when it comes to dating, so, I will do my best :)
Me.. I am extermely discerning and have learned what makes me tick. I have recognized a missing piece in my life is a special person to spend time with. I'm a mellow, type A guy who can be a little shy and at a loss for words at first, but once I warm up I'm very outgoing, down to earth, and can easily make friends with anyone around me. I have a deep love for the lord and I feel blessed and grateful to live the life that I have. I attend Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar and I have always seen my glass as being half-full. I smile at strangers and have a soft spot for people who are less fortunate. I am way past trying to impress people and I have no place in my life for drama and those who are prideful, condescending, arrogant, and who like to brag. I consider myself to be a man of strong ethics and moral character. I am honest, very faithful, loyal, well mannered, and a gentleman and I find integrity to be quite attractive in a person. I am a happy person and love to make people laugh, let loose, and have fun when the time is right. I am a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy; however I can pull off a social event in a suit and tie with the best of them. When I get the chance, I love to travel near and far, weekend getaways, but love to stay home and cuddle by the fireplace. I have a wide variety of interest and I am up for trying almost anything and don't always need a plan (No, I'm not going to jump out of a airplane, but I'm good watching you from the ground)..lol Yes, I love the mushy stuff and with the right girl I can be very romantic and like to show my effectionate side. I love holding hands, walking on the beach at sunset, and sleeping in on a rainy day, (which is so underrated). When were not together, I enjoy leaving little love notes to my sweetheart where she least expects them with little secrets about us. Romance is wherever you are with the right person and I have always believed that true love can be defined as "without her, I don't make sense." Socially, I am not a clingy guy. I don't have to stand next to you to know that we are together and I'm okay watching you from across the room and smiling at how beautiful you look, while all along knowing that you are mine. I am looking for a long lasting relationship, and I like to take my time to get to know a person, and for things to happen more naturally.
You.. While nobody is documented or fully indexed with the operating manual, chemistry is important for me, and while looks alone will not win my heart over, it certainly is where I begin. I'm looking for some who can complement me and in return, I hope I can do the same for her. As clich as it sounds, I do not want someone who is perfect, but want someone who is perfect for me. I consider myself to be in good shape and work out regularly, I would perfer my partner did the same. I would love to meet someone who can be romantic and affectionate without being prompted and can be silly and make me laugh. Someone who can share my hope, dreams, and secrets. someone who is fun and open-minded, can communicate and be honset with me.
