A BIT OF MY LIFES PHILOSOPHY:
It seems that the best laid out plans of life, are often changed by unforeseeable events. My life with this person or my relationship with that person, has an impact on our lives, that may change our coarse by only a few degrees, and at first it seems imperceptible, but within the blink of an eye, we're now looking at our life's plan far off in the distance and getting farther away. Why would we be here at this time in our lives, if this was not true for all of us. I would like to think that we all had someone, at some point, that gave us that special feeling (Love, Comfort, Security, Etc...). It may not have lasted, but we felt it once, and that's what we all seek again. I think one of the biggest problems, is that we had those feelings in our youth, and we tend to look for them there. Women try to look younger, and often make the comment "My friends say I seem younger than my age", and men try to be more virile, and exaggerate about everything "It's what we do". Some are lucky or hard working, and they do look young for their age, and their bodies are in great shape. Then there is the rest of us, that look our age, and worst of all feel our age (What's with that?). The medicine cabinet that once was full of items that kept us beautiful, now actually is filling up with medication that keeps us going... :) For each of us there is that perfect package (Looks, Body, Personality, Etc...) that we are looking for. If it was so easy to find, why are there so many of us here, and why are we here year after year? I wish I had the answer, but I too am on this journey with all the rest, and that (Love, Relationship, Etc...) which so many seem to have, still alludes me. I have learned a few things over the years, Flexibility, Compromise, Patients, seem to be a must at this age... :) I have a strong faith in God, even if I don't go to church, and I love to travel, and enjoy the surprises that life offers... :) Well I may or may not be your perfect package.
