I've always been told I look about 10 years younger than my age....but I love my age...I feel I have grown and learned so much about myself and who I am and what I want now.
I am inspired by loving, kind, intelligent, passionate and creative people and I try to surround myself with positive influences to help guide me through daily life. I have many good long term friendships with both men and woman and all my friendships are very important to me.
I love the outdoors...i currently live in the mountains. I'm originally from the ocean but here I think it is great that I can walk out my door and be in nature on a hike! I have a passion for traveling, even if it is just a road trip. I have been known to just pack up and go on a whim!
I'm fortunate my work schedule is flexible and allows me to do that.....let’s go find a new adventure! I am a “sweet gypsy heart”! A dream of mine is to someday travel across the US in an RV :-)
I work out regularly but if I have the chance I prefer to do my workout outside, walk, hike, swim, bike...etc...
it is important to me and in my partner to at least try to be and stay in pretty good shape. I stay active and healthy and I'm always game for something new and fun to try. I tried stand up paddle boarding at the lake last summer and loved it!!
I've tried and loved many different activities, river rafting, kayaking, hiking, camping, fishing, sailing....
I love to cook (and would love a cook mate) and not to brag but I have been told I'm pretty good at it too :-).
I love to entertain at home with a partner for friends than go to big fancy dinners....at least most of the time but I also love a great night out... allows me to be a bit of a girly-girl! It's fun dressing up for a fun night of dining and dancing either in or out! Dancing at home in the living room is fun too! :-)
I try to cook and eat organic and healthy, although not fanatic about it all, just conscious. I have no problem splurging on ice cream and pizza too, I find a good balance in all of that!
I feel I am entering the most important chapter of my life and would love to meet someone who is like minded, we can enjoy the same things but allow each others independence, someone with a sense of romance and sensitivity, but yet strong, secure and confident...... easy going temperament and takes life's up and downs in stride and willing to embrace whatever may come next with a positive attitude.....

I'm originally from the Bay Area (Concord), lived in Truckee for 22 years and then the Sierra Valley for 9 years. I'm over living in the snow so I just moved from Cascade Shores to a sunnier location closer to town but still out in the country. That's where I'm in my happy place (outdoors).
I love to cook and enjoy a good BBQ with grilled veggies. I like slow mornings and enjoy sitting outside drinking a strong cup of coffee in the morning.
