Meet single man from California, United States. I’m happy. However, there is room for “Happier.” I have no fear of commitment and while I haven't found the one to spend the rest of my life with, I know I will meet her in time.
I am at ease on a stage or sitting in front of a fire. Laughter comes easy for those around me and it is usually at my well earned expense. Don't worry ... there is plenty more material and therefore, many more laughs to come.
I do believe in Chemistry. I believe it is an essential start to a long lasting relationship. However, true companionship is about loving someone through the less glamorous times. I, like most people, desire the passion that comes from loves first kiss. However, there can only be one. And while I believe it is extremely important to keep the fire alive, passion includes the love of being in a committed relationship. There will always be moments when we are tempted in life. I am looking for someone who understands the benefits of monogamy and isn’t simply chasing “butterflies.”
My greatest strength is understanding that I don’t know it all. I am good at accepting constructive criticism and disciplined enough to enact the changes necessary to improve. In contrast, my weakness is debating a topic based on emotion rather than logic. I guess I fit the stereotype. -- While I’ve made strides in this regard, logic is instinctively my basis for making sense of any situation.
While I always seem to be striving to get in better shape, I am fortunate to never stray far from my target weight. However, the salt in my hair seems to be kicking the crap out of the pepper!
I have two beautiful girls, 13 and 10. Their mom and I share 50/50 custody in a very civil relationship. It has been a true gift to see them grow and thrive while avoiding the emotional hurdles that sometimes plague kids living with divorced parents. – I believe in balance. However, I am looking for someone who understands that sharing a life with me includes my kids … at least until they graduate from college :) -- Family is very important to me. I maintain a close relationship with my parents and sisters. Mom and Dad recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
