I also like adventures, and attending concerts and sporting events. My friends would describe me as hard working and successful. But, I think of myself more as someone that likes to have fun. The simple things make me smile the most.
My interests are really varied. If you like to schlep it and also dress up, I think that's great. I really don't have a check-list. It's all about chemistry. We can have fun together, handle the bumpy patches, and light-footedly trod along-whatever it is we decide to do.

If this is true you will find us smart, athletic, handsome and energetic (in a big way) although he may have me beat in more than one category. He is a great looking dog---good genes. We love treats, hugs, high fives, going to the beach, the snow, and frisbee in the park.
He occasionally steals my socks and shoes but that's only because I am ready to leave and he doesn't want to be left behind. To be honest, some people may think we are a bit bonkers but to quote a great line "all the best ones are".
I have a career that allows me to travel both in the US and abroad but for the most part it is here in Northern California where Baxter gets to ride along to work with me most days. He has a great life. I enjoy working with all my clients--a truly eclectic group. I have many friends worldwide and throughout the Northwest and wish they all lived closer. My family is spread out over the US and Canada. It makes getting us all together difficult but even more special we do.
I am not bound to one passion or hobby although I have my favorites. I took up surfing a year ago and love it. I try to get to the beach twice a week at daybreak before I start my work day--- hardest sport I have ever tried. Maybe moutain biking or scuba is next. I stay in shape by being active outdoors and eating healthy although I abide by the 80:20 rule-- 80% good and 20% not so good-- East Coast pizza anyone? Cycling is my choice for keeping fit and I throughouly enjoy it but I must be honest, I would much rather be riding a chair lift up a hill rather than peddling up one.
At the buffet of life as well as powder days in Tahoe you will find me close to the front of the line. When I like something you can bet I will be back for seconds.
I hope you may like the outdoors, great food and wine, travel, exploration, adventure, my dog and me!. I am not looking for a "perfect" match, only a great woman open and ready to enjoy life with a good man. I think that chemistry is important but truly believe it takes more than that for a successful long term relationship. We all have baggage so just make sure yours does not weigh you down.
As for children, I welcome them in any way or fashion. They are a missing piece in my life and I believe they would add more purpose to it, but if the stars do not line up, I would be very content with a wonderful partner. A bit of the chicken or the egg theory.
