I have an easy smile and can put most people at ease very quickly. I have a wide range of interests and generally like a variety of activities. I think what I find most attractive in a man is confidence with strong integrity. I don't like a wishy washy weak man, that's for sure. My friends would probably say my strongest assets are my heart and my humor. I love to laugh, but more importantly, I love to make people feel good about themselves. I'm spontaneous, upbeat and positive, fun, honest, driven, and down-to-earth. I'm definitely a great communicator, and in a relationship, I don't believe in holding things inside. I'm multi-dimensional in regards to going out - I can dress to the nines for a ballroom gala, or wear sweats for a "very short" hike (please note the "very short" part)!! I've done quite a bit of volunteer work in the past, and continue to do so, as much as time permits.
I have to say I have the best of friends, and if I had my druthers I'd have a BBQ every weekend in my backyard. My hobbies include swimming, gardening and landscaping, designing, singing, traveling, dining, boating, bbq'ing, entertaining, hanging out w/ friends, being at the lake and/or beach, whatever - I love spontaneity. I'll pretty much do or try most anything at least once (w/ the exception of bungee jumping or sky diving (I'm deathly afraid of heights!). I LOVE being outdoors and seeing nature.
I was born and raised on the east coast in Annapolis, Md. where my family still resides. After college I ventured off exploring as much of the east coast as possible, and finally nested in California in 1990. I love it here! The weather is spectacular, and I love the fact that we have everything at our fingertips here - Yosemite (although I've never been), Big Bear, just about every change of scenery is within reach. It's absolutely the best place on earth to live.
Insofar as my career is concerned, I've been blessed to have been an accomplished singer/songwriter with several CD's under my belt. The last gig I had was singing with my 8-piece band at BB Kings in Hollywood at the Universal City Sidewalk to a packed venue. That was awesome. I'm not sure what the future entails - whether I'll continue with singing and songwriting or whether I'll venture onto another field - right now, I'm just enjoying being a stay-at-home mommy - I am extremely blessed to have a precious, sweet 4- year old baby girl who lives with me. She is my little side-kick, and I'm having a blast watching her grow up (it's going way too fast, tho). I'm madly in love w/ her.
