I am a retired medical professional and loved what I did. I still care for my 93 1/2 year old mother and am still raising a 25 year old daughter and helping her raise her 3 1/2 year old son. I studied for and passed the RCFE exam for California in February and as soon as I finish refurbishing my mothers house I will probably go to work in a new career, but still in the health care field (the jury is still out on this I have the option to not return to work, I'll decide when the house and other items are resolved). . My mother moved into an assisted living facility in November and I had no idea it was going to take so long and so much energy into refurbishing a 60 year old house for lease...I hate to think of what I will have to do when I decide to sell it.
Addionally if you are under the age of 68 please do not contact me, I am no cougar and I just can't see myself with someone whom I have so little in common. I worked for 27 years in medical claims insurance for an actors union and raised a wonderful daughter who is now happily married and involved in her own career.. I got my B.A. in 2000 and went on for my masters in creative writing. Everything but the thesis, got sidetracked by writing; and now finished my first tongue-in-cheek detective novel and am working on a second.
