I will start by sayng that i'm a reserved person but do 'warm up' once i know the people. i have goals i want to reach, both personal and professionally. i've been working in the field of education for 10 years and enjoy working with children.

Curious: Apparently my favorite phrase when I was a toddler was, “?Que es eso?” so I think I'm naturally inclined to be curious. As an undergrad I was interested in cross-cultural studies. Currently my research/work interest is in the social inequality of education.
Understanding: IРІР‚в„ўm a middle child so I learned to make compromises and often I was a mediator. I have an older sister and a younger brother. As a kid, I usually wasn't the one getting in trouble at home; I learned from their mistakes.

You know, times normal people have off. :)
As far as what I am looking for, I think my partner would have to have a natural intellectual curiosity so that we could talk about lots of stuff. I would hope that he would be a happy with his job and with the rest of the stuff in his life. I'm not the type to care too much about what people do for a living as long as they are happy. Communication is super important to me. A person who can communicate their feelings and be non-defensive during discussions is hard to find.
