I been golfing on and off for about 15 years. I donРІР‚в„ўt take myself very serious on the course, my handicap is 30. I just like being outside playing, socializing, and soaking up the surroundings. Being on the golf course definitely takes me away from the city and puts me in another world. In the summer I play about once a week, but not so much in the winter after the time change.
But, my new love is tennis. I’m beginner - a 3.0. About 2 years ago I joined a tennis club, a tennis team, and signed up with USTA. I would have to say this is one of the best things I’ve done in long time. I’ve met a lot of good people, made some great friends, and improved my tennis game. This last season we placed 1st and were off to sectionals in August 2012. GO TEAM!! “Hopefully we’ll make nationals.”
I consider myself independent. I started working and move out when I was 18. IРІР‚в„ўve been very blessed in my career. IРІР‚в„ўve been working in the financial industry for close to 30 years. I still love it and canРІР‚в„ўt imagine doing anything else. I love my job and my customers. My hours are not from 9 to 5, but from 5 to 2pm. I work on east coast time. I like the hours because I have the afternoons to do whatever I want - and another bonus is that I donРІР‚в„ўt have to fight all that L.A. traffic. But one down side is that I have to go to sleep a lot earlier than everyone else. IРІР‚в„ўm not much of a night owl. (Plus, I hear nothing good happens after midnight anyways.)
