Meet a soulmate from Folsom, United States. Work keeps me pretty busy so I'm pretty easy going in my personal life. I enjoy spending time outside, either walking the dog or walking the golf course. I work in a technical field, but at heart, I'm a bit of a tree hugger. I'm pretty open to most new things, but honestly, the daredevil days are over. About me and my interests:
I am an adventurous and spontaneous person; I love both the mountains and the ocean. I enjoy year round hiking (including winter snow shoeing), backpacking or four-wheeling to remote locations, kayak/canoe adventure camp trips. I like to find new places to explore and hike to, always looking for that next adventure. Enjoy cycling (both road and mountain biking). I recently got into scuba diving, Cozumel was cool, and I have a dive trip to Belize planned for June of 2012.
I'm into healthy living and eating, my diet consists of mostly organic whole foods, lot's of greens. I quite often have full vegetarian meals, but I do eat fish, chicken and occasionally other meats. I work out several times a week, mostly consists of kayaking, road biking and mountain biking and some light lifting.
And as much as I love the outdoors, I do enjoy down time simply relaxing at home watching a movie or relaxing out back with a fire, some music and a glass of wine or cranking up the music and a playing billiards. And lately a lot of home remodeling projects, which is not exactly down time, but enjoyable and rewarding none the less.
My personality:
I’m easy going, fairly down to earth and enjoy the simple things in life. I’m family oriented and my kids (ages 19, 21, 25) are an important part of my life; although they are older, moved out and fairly self-sufficient these days. I do have an analytical side and can be deep at times, but I have a good sense of humor and I’m pretty easy to get along with. I’m an honest, faithful, stable, hard working man that knows how to treat a lady. I try to live my life with faith, honor and integrity (I highly value people with integrity). I was faithfully married for 20 years, been divorced for 8 years now. I've tried MATCH before back in 2008 and thought I would give this online thing another try and see how it goes.
I should say, I am a Christian and do occasionally attend a non-denominational church. I selected "Christian/ Other" under the faith category instead of "Spiritual but not Religious", but I have to say, I think this site should have more options on religion and spirituality, I think a person can be spiritual and religious, which I am both.
