Date a soulmate from Cupertino, United States. OK let’s break this thing down! A great loving relationship to me would include Companionship, Trust, Chemistry, Acceptance, Respect, and Shared values.
Companionship is a true friend, a confidant, you partner in life, the single person in the world who is your preferred company.
Trust is earned by good behavior, being honest and having integrity. Honesty, I simply tell the truth, I’m 50, my photos are current, WYSIWYG, and what you read is what you get. Integrity means when given the opportunity to cheat, lie or steal you don’t. You choose to behave in a virtuous manner.
Chemistry, an almost indescribable hit or miss feeling that we desire at the core of our soul. A physical, visceral, carnal, attraction only felt face to face. The look, the sound, the smell, the touch that gives us a rush we cannot ignore.
Acceptance, I take you for who you are, I unwrap the gift that is you, and love you as you are at this moment, in this moment, a real person with foibles, flaws, and imperfections. I cherish our differences.
Respect, never demeaned, condescended to or dismissed. We see each other as equal partners and individuals. Greater together than the sum of our parts. We nurture and heal each other, never diminish, especially when conflict arises.
Shared Values, chemistry gets us in trouble without shared values. Do you share some of my values? Security, Fun, Creativity, Sexuality, Patience, Mindfulness, Fitness, Intimacy, Family, Simplicity, Adventure, Flexibility, Kindness, Resourcefulness, and Intelligence.
OK throw everything I just said out the window! Communication is the thing!! I also spend a lot of time outdoors biking, with my kids and am pretty mainstream although I have no TV(time waster!).
OK now the mundane stuff:
An easygoing middle aged man with kids! Are you still with me? No drinking, no drugs and no drama! No Fun? I can't believe you are still here. Back on my bicycle, heating it up before I get too old. I enjoy the discovery of small things in life and the challenge of exploring the complex. Work hard and play hard! No, I work hard and recover! I think what people do with their time reflects their values. I spend a lot of time with my children(50%), family and friends. Visiting my family is always an exceptional meal. Someone new will bring new things to do and places to go. I am looking for someone to share and enjoy time together. How about a bike ride from Coast to Coast, can you get 65 days off work this summer 2012 or 2013? Just a dream of mine I'm trying to make into a reality! I am looking for a partner to enjoy life with! To go the distance two people need companionship, trust, chemistry, acceptance, respect and shared values. I’m looking for a monogamous long term gig! I am far from perfect, but feel NICE goes a very long way. It boils down to attitude, behavior and chemistry. My kids are not teenagers yet, just a little FYI!!! Glad you made it to the end.
