Meet single man from United States. I'm heading north to the Folsom area for the summer months and into the fall. Hopefully I will meet the great lady that has been eluding me. I have been in the San Diego area for a little over a year but there is nothing like the beauty of northern California. Some of what I wrote below was a while back but it's still relevant.
This is a bit like catalog shopping for shoes. They all look good. It's the fit that counts once you get past the hype and marketing. Photos that reflect who you are today is a good start. Photos of your dogs, cats, sunsets, motorcycles, etc, are nice but don’t do much to show who you are. Except in the case where you might have 5 dogs on your bed and I know that’s not going to happen.
I’m not perfect. Far from it. If I had the ability to be perfect, I would choose to not be. That would make me pretty boring. I’ve made lots of mistakes and hope that I have learned from all of them. I try to do the best I can.
I moved from the city in 1980 to the foothills of California. It’s close to the wonders of nature so I can indulge daily. I love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can outside. My bicycle is in my van as well as a guitar and in the summer some inflatable lake and river toys. Playing blues guitar in a beautiful setting is something I do as much as I can. Everyday if possible. I love the water and would like to be close to it most of the time. My travel destinations usually are water oriented. Going to the middle of the desert would not be anywhere near the top of my vacation destination list.
I have my own business and work in the summer for a few months each year but look forward to having the summers off soon. I have about 8 months off and like to snorkel in Hawaii, Mexico or any tropical paradise. I have a few ideas on how to work from home and in the process of getting it set up.
I'm not a sports fanatic or a couch potato. Monday night football a couple times each year is about it. And maybe the Superbowl. It's nice to watch a movie with popcorn in the evening, after a long day of work and play. I’m not much of a shopper but do like to look for bargains at flea markets and events. I do most of my shopping online now. In fact I bought both of my vehicles on ebay.
I have my opinions on many things but can understand other points of view and can change if other views are reasonable and probable. Though I’m pretty firm on some of them. I have always enjoyed learning and doing, so I can rebuild a car engine, build a house, build a computer, cook, and even ride a two wheel bike.
I probably would not get along with a bleeding heart liberal because I believe in personal responsibility. I have voted for some democrat politicians and ideas but mostly would put myself leaning heavily in the conservative direction.
I would like to meet someone who is active, health conscious, mentally stable, financially stable, ready for a relationship, no drugs, not overweight, likes to laugh and play….. Since I’m putting in my order here I might as well go for broke…. Maybe not....
We should have enough similarities that will keep us interested and actively growing together. Friendship should be the cornerstone with the building blocks, communication, respect the others ideas and feelings. I’m easy going and pretty laid back. I’m here because I know that special someone is here too…. Smile…..

Meet a man from United States. Hello there thanks for stopping by.....curious? I would love to tell you I'm good looking, but I'm just a regular guy! I am a moderate fan of biking each day either in Alameda or in Folsom. I am a romantic, love traveling, wine tasting and dining out! I can cook and BBQ is my favorite thing to do...ribs, steak and turkey are my specialty. I enjoy the City, dinner at Scoma's and maybe a play or the symphony when a singer, like Gladys Knight is with them. I love the rain and reading a good book or cuddling with that special someone by the fire with good music and wine.
My lady would be a romantic, who likes surprises and gives them too! Who loves to hold hands and shares kisses when the mood strikes her, whether in public or alone. She would be in good shape and dress for the any ocassion. I would like her to be a good shopper for clothes as I was spoiled before........I can do my own but would prefer her to do it as I have not the patience for standing in line. (sore spot)...lol.....but not a deal breaker! She would be trusting and honest with nothing held back, I can't read minds and would like to be able to compromise on the things of major issue! She would understand that we all have good points and bad, but that love prevails, and she or I can forgive!
