I had backpacked twice to Europe and the Middle East. Solo motorcycling from San Jose, CA to South America once. One of my most favorite things to do is to try the local foods when I travel. I love to seek out the places where the locals eat. The open night food markets where they cook in the open and you sit down and eat right there is the best.
I like simple, yet beautiful things. Nothing complicated. Hoping to meet someone who is sincere and understanding. Value her own and others' cultures. Nature and its beauty attracts me as well as other man made creations that are stylish and tasteful.
Recently separated and just wanted to find friends first. Someone I can converse and share common interests and inner feelings with. Meet someone special from California, United States. I am 50 year old nearly divorced person who is looking to find a partner and confidant for the future. I am in good shape for my age through a combination of exercise, good genes, and a healthy lifestyle. I am professionally employed and have also been an entrepreneur at times. The simple things in life give me the most pleasure - baking cakes, cooking meals (tonight it's Shrimp Fra Diavolo with Linguine), taking walks in parks and along the beach, watching the sunset from my deck, and spending time with friends and family. But I also love to discover new places, foods, and music. I'm debating between New Zealand, Asia, and South America as the destination for my next trip. Suggestions welcome.
I like plays, musicals, and visiting museums (one of my favorites is the Gauguin museum in Paris) as much as I like riding a bike or hiking.
