- I have a very good sense of humor, but timing is what takes me from the amateur to the pro level. It is natural, just like breathing, that allows my comments to come out at just the right moments. It is a gift, although I would have preferred something more like tap dancing :)
- When I need to clear my head, I like to get in the car and drive. For example, today I drove up PCH, heading toward Santa Barbara, grabbed a cup of coffee and occasionally pulled over to take in the views - and of course lots of pictures. Unfortunately, the pictures are only of scenery. That's where you come in.
- I enjoy all types of music, but most recently I have been listening to a lot of modern country. I like to write my own music as well, but it has been some time now and I am just starting to resurrect my song writing/recording. Again, that's where you come in. I need a warm and caring person to write about.
- I've only been married once and for a long time (25 yrs).

- I am looking for someone who is spontaneous, excited to go to different places with limited planning and not all too concerned on the destination, as long as we are together.
- Self-confidence and self-esteem is key, a woman of substance - it's really not just about looks - been there, done that

I am active and like traveling, especially in out of the way places and unsupported (no tour groups). Foot, bicycle, motorcycle and kayak are my favorite means of conveyance. I go for a bicycle ride or hike nearly every day.
I possess a great degree of loyalty, honesty, respect and altruism. I try to see the good in all that is around me. A striving for oneness with nature is important. I try to have a healthy lifestyle. I eat vegan at home, vegetarian or maybe fish while out.
Who I’m looking for:
I smile and have a flash of daydream when I think of you. You inspire me with your ideas, values, the way you crinkle your nose. You are happy with yourself and what you do. My idea of a perfect date:
We fly by helicopter over the Napa vineyards, between friendly cumulus and head west towards the coast. Finding a secluded spot overlooking the crashing surf, we land, go for a hike along the bluffs and after a swim and splash, lay out a picnic. We talk and laugh, realizing how lucky we are to have each other, entirely forgetting that the chopper will turn into a pumpkin at 3:00.
My perception of an ideal relationship:
I believe that honesty is the most important thing in a relationship. Without a foundation of honesty, a strong relationship cannot be built. The ideal relationship would be based on mutual respect and support, in good times and bad. The relationship I am looking for has that spark, that click, the chemistry connection that is so hard to define and yet brings us together as the super duo!
What I’ve learned from past relationships (I've only had two, each about 10 yrs long):
Wash behind your ears. Tolerance is good. Perfection is unattainable. Honesty and openness will lead you forward. Work for what’s important to you, taking nothing for granted. Let go of your inhibitions; your feelings and emotions will support you.
The company I work for is based in Santa Monica, however I live in a small mountain town 100 miles to the north. I am willing to travel a long distance for the right person initially, and would be open to moving should we find that we are meant for each other.
