Date single man from Loomis, United States. Ok, so finally signed up and will post pics soon. Had to wait for my business to slow down a bit anyhow otherwise I'd be too busy to date.
About me first I suppose. Then a stab at what I'm looking for. Where to begin...ok, I'm self employed, work from home, have anaylsts in India. Work with start up companies and invest in them occasionally. Divorced in 2006, which was years overdue. On good terms with the ex. Oldest daughter is 20 and studying acting in NYC, youngest daughter is 17 and lives with me and will be a senior this fall. Great kids (yeah, everybody says that, but its true). I think I'm a good dad. I'm pretty easy going, though I can be intense. Competitive. Driven. I don't believe in daily horoscopes or astrology, but I am a true Taurus in every sense--look up those qualities and you can decide if I am even close to your cup of tea. I love to laugh and have those around me laugh too. But then I be serious too. Conservative. If you describe yourself as liberal, then I don't think we are a match. I'm pro choice though (tossed that in there so the lefties won't hate me :). Have a nice house in Loomis. Insanely grateful for where I am in life right now. Really like live theatre (thanks to my oldest) and UFC (youngest wants me to take her to the fights in Vegas). Big college football fan. Will watch the playoffs on TV for most sports, but don't follow any pro teams.
So how to describe what I'm looking for without creating some narrow check list? Better, I think, to just be honest and let things fall where they may. Maybe I will list a few qualities I like: someone younger or close to my age. A fit, feminine woman--yes, I like women who are put together well. If you can rock a little black dress you will definately get my attention. Intelligence but don't think you need a PhD. OK, I'll say it, a traditional, conservative woman, one who believes there are differences between men and women and that it's a good thing. Is it so bad to have your guy open the car door for you? Soft voice. Nice smile. Laughs at my jokes--well, that's a given. Ha! Wants more from life, to be active and healthy for decades to come. Tennis, skiing, travel, swimming, hiking--if you are a couch potatoe, then also not a good fit. Kind. Compasionate. My ex gf was an interior designer, and I still have things to do at the house, so if this is a skill of yours then bonus points are awarded. I make good money so it doesn't matter to me how much or how little you make. And finally, chemistry. If it isn't there, then its a time waster for both of us. If it is there, then there is a chance for more. Agree?
