Meet a woman from California, United States. I am looking for a man who wants to learn all about me and in turn share himself with me. I would hope that one day he would come to the realization that he is happier with me than without me. Long term, I am looking for someone who would notice if I stopped breathing during the night. :-) This man needs to be easy-going, casual, honest, and dependable. It would help if he knows how to use a shovel, drill and hammer.
I am currently working two jobs, with summers off, and I plan to retire the fall of 2014. I own my own home and car and have no debts.
My interests include reading, traveling, NPR, Click and Clack, train travel, day trips, browsing libraries and bookstores, wandering around Home Depot,Costco and Trader Joe's, working in my yard, being in Alaska, movies at the Palm Theater, (no violent movies, please) and getting together with friends.
Exercising stopped for me about a year ago when I put some tears in a ligament in my left foot. Until then I enjoyed walking and am just getting back to it. My other favorite way of exercising is swimming, which stopped when I added the second job this year and couldnРІР‚в„ўt/didnРІР‚в„ўt make the time to get to the gym. So...I have been a slug this past year.
The Sea Chest in Cambria and The Great American Fish Company in Morro Bay are among my favorite places to eat. I enjoy an occasional glass of Merlot.
I attend church regularly. It is a progressive church and I am happy to answer questions about what that means.
I have been divorced since 1980 and have had several long term relationships since then. The men remain my good friends and my two sons always tease me about the fact that at my memorial service there will probably be a group of men, sitting together in the front row, sharing funny stories about me.
I find humor in just about everything. The simple things in life please me the most. I prefer to dress casually and am usually wearing jeans and tennis shoes. (the tennis shoes I donРІР‚в„ўt like...but the ligament is still healing and needs the support).
Geesh.......I got a little gabby, didnРІР‚в„ўt I? I am normally a quiet person.
