Date someone special from Atascadero, United States. I enjoy the simple things in life :) I am thankful for all God has blessed me with...l love animals, love my family my friends. I enjoy kayaking, gardening, concerts in the park, wine tasting time with family friends. Honesty and loyalty are key for my life.
I am not into the bar scene, I enjoy the outdoors but like being home as well. Spending an evening at home watching movies or TV is relaxing to me, reading books on my Kindle is something I enjoy also, mostly Christian fiction and books that help us become more aware of how to improve or grow in our personal lives. I enjoy reading God's Word, the Bible....it is all true in my eyes.
Friends would describe me as outgoing and high energy level, jokingly we say like the Energizer Bunny, but I love to relax and enjoy my Sunday afternoon naps :) I have learned to Swing Dance over the last couple of years, never thought that would happen....it is great exercise, a lot of fun and love my friends I have met through it. We meet up at the concerts in the parks and have a good time dancing outdoors. I learned and still dance at a barn in a small country town with some awesome teachers that are now friends, we occasionally go to the Madonna Inn or other spots in the area for special events.
I enjoy gardening, planting flowers and watching them grow and bloom. I live on a small ranch with deer, rabbits and horses all around me, I love watching them and am so thankful to live where I do! I lost by best friend, my 15 1/2 yr. old golden retriever 2 years ago...we were attached at the hip as my family would say. Someday I will open my heart to another dog but for now my cockatiel is my only animal, hopefully I will have a horse again some day.
Like I said earlier, I enjoy the simple things....I am not a woman that needs to eat at 5 star restaurants, never have been & never will. I enjoy eating a local places in Morro Bay, maybe just a nice cup of chowder and fish. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy nice things and want a man that will treat me good, I like flowers and evenings out and want to be treated with respect. I am old fashioned in a lot of ways and my character and how I treat others is most important to me. I love to do for others, better than receiving, just how I have always been.
