My original account was hijacked and I have to create a new one and there was some really funny well written stuff on the old one. OK so here goes. Describe myself? How does a guy do that and not sound like a pompous a*s or a raving megalomaniac? Women can write volumes about themselves but guys are known to be communication challenged, so I will do my best here. I'm a regular guy, a retired Air Traffic Controller so I sometimes speak in quick short bursts, wave an arm or two and occasionally point. Of course being the retired controller the response I expect back is blind unquestioned obedience (there's the funny part). I also taught at the community college level and was known as a benevolent dictator. I figured since I controlled the test answer sheet and grade book I could run the class any way I wanted to. My friends say I'm easy on the eye and a sweetheart of a guy. Have an excellent sense of humor and love to laugh. I can fix just about anything. When my friends call for help, I always show up with a hammer, a ladder, some rope, electrical tape and of course, a bottle of wine. I provide the repair and they provide the dinner.
I enjoy flying model airplanes on the weekends and building them during the week. My 26 year old son and I are rebuilding an old model T Ford from the frame up. Lots of work, lots of history and loads of quality time. I've one grandson and one on the way.
