I am however impulsive, and a risk taker, which makes for an exciting life at times, though not necessarily
prudent. I am curious about everything, but feel I know very little in great detail. I love doing anything outdoors, and can do most
sports in some fashion or other.
I am a little hyperactive, if that is possible, which makes reading difficult. I do though read the NYT. NYRB.and other political magazines, and am fairly liberal. I like seeing all the good movies, seeing all the art shows, reading all the prize winning
fiction, love good theatre, and Bel Canto opera especially. My own artistic spirit comes out in photography, though I really like writing as well.I have worked and lived in Asia, and Europe, have two passports, and can communicate somewhat in French and Danish..
I have found the Bay area rich in so many ways, and am extremely contented. I do miss having a good companion to
share activities and ideas with. Life is really good without one, but I know it can be truly great with one.

I have worked in the public school system with special education students which has given me great satisfaction. I have recently retired and looking forward to finding meaningful volunteer activities and doing more local and international travel.
