Meet someone special from California, United States. My neighbor of 12 years just sold his home. Even tho he was a young man and most of our time was passed in walking our dogs together in the evenings 4 or 5 nights a week, I now realize how much I had gotten used to having a man to talk to about his day/my day ..our jobs...plans, what we were reading, something in the news etc.
I now understand that even though I could finish off my life without a partner, it could be so much better with the right one. I really don't know what a relationship now is going to look like. One home..two homes. Romantic or platonic...i guess it depends on us.
