Even though I am semi-retired I am still actively involved in a medical device consulting business and plan on continuing these activities for the foreseeable future, however on my own terms and on my own time schedule. I don't see myself totally retiring because then I don't know what I would do with my time and energy. However, the right relationship could change my thinking on this topic.

Date a woman from California, United States. I can be a girly girl and clean up nicely but at heart I'm a tomboy. I like most sports. Basketball is my favorite to watch. I've really enjoyed March madness this year as I do every year. I love to play golf and play at least once a week (poorly, I might add, but with enthusiasm). As a youth I was more likely to be found up a tree than playing dolls. I have 4 brothers. What can I say? I do like to cook. My goal is not to eat the cuisine of the same country twice in one week. Eating out is a pleasure and a treat, especially when traveling. I like to order new things and then try them out at home.
My passion is travel. I am either on a trip or planning one. I'm off to Machu Picchu in September with my daughter. I'd rather have a loving companion to travel with as much as I adore her. There is nothing like travel to cement a relationship in my opinion. There will never be anyone who shares that special place, that meal, that beautiful sunset. It belongs to just the two of you forever. I have been on many cruises and tours and I love renting houses in Europe. You really become a part of the village life. I love it when they call me by name at the bakery when I go to get my daily bread. And it's just a bonus that's it's less expensive than a hotel and that you have a kitchen where you can cook new fresh ingredients from the market in the square. I love the unstructured days just absorbing the place; sightseeing or eating or doing nothing on my own schedule rather than a tour guide's. When I retire, I would like to spend more time in each place.
I love to do anything in or around water. I am fortunate to have fulfilled my lifelong dream to live on a lake which was formulated as a young girl in Seattle. I am financially comfortable and still working part time in my own marketing business and wish to be with someone of similar circumstances. I am very outgoing (thank goodness as it is a handy trait in marketing.) Love to meet new people, go new places. I would go ANYWHERE if someone bought me a ticket. I want to see, do and taste everything that life has to offer. I will listen to all kinds of music (well maybe not rap). I read every day from a variety of material. historical novels are my favorite but I do read crime fiction ie: Grisham, Baldacci, Connelly especially when on vacation. I read financial magazines and Time magazine weekly.
I go to the gym every day and am healthy and fit and I would like my partner to be the same. We must work even harder now to keep fit in order to really enjoy whatever years we have left to us.
