Body Type? This one threw me. I am 5'11' and weigh 160 pounds. What is that? My idea of athletic and fit is someone who looks like Mario Lopez. Slender is what i call marathon runners. I don't have six pack abs, and don't have a beer belly. I came up with the conclusion that i am slender. What do you think?

Meet men and women from United States. ok let's see how would i discribe my self? i am a very genuine and honest person. i consider myself to to be very positive and generaly happy. I have three teenage boy's and I love ski, play basketball and golf with the boys and there friends. I love to do adventureus things like backpacking and rock climbing/repelling. I don't want to give you the idea that I am all about the outdoors I also enjoy fine dining and good conversation relaxing at home and a Laker game on occasion. My faith is inportant to me. I am looking for some one who wants to share life and it's experiances. I work out regularly not because i want to but because i have to. I am not a gym rat haha! I enjoy people however I don't have many friends, the ones I have are close. I work hard and often, I am involved with my sons actitivities. This is always the tricky part....how much do I reveal, what is acceptable & when to shut the heck up...With all that I have been through, there are still experiences & adventures I'd like to enjoy. I work hard, but always have time to relax & find that playtime/downtime, is just as important to both my physical, as well as mental health.
I would like to find someone who I can share my adventures with. Someone who can enjoy the quiet beauty of a sunset, or a hike through the hills, but would be just as comfortable dressing up & going out for a night of dinner & dancing and all the fun that comes with it.

Meet someone special from United States. I’m a kid-at-heart who loves the outdoors. I like simple pleasures but also enjoy a good physical or mental challenge. I like many of the same things I found pleasure in as a child: riding my bike for hours on end (cycling is my favorite outdoor activity, followed by hiking), being out in the rain, climbing trees, or simply walking along a canal out in the country. I love the seasons we have in the valley as, unlike many other places, outdoor adventures are available year-round.
Two priorities are watching what I eat and staying fit as I believe that doing both enhances the quality of life. So I prepare a lot of my own meals which is another thing I like to do (with the variety of fresh stuff available, it doesn’t take that much time – well worth the effort).
I have a son away at college and one in high school. They’re almost on their own, and are both well-grounded and responsible kids. I’m still fairly active with them, especially in the summer months.
Music of all types is something I enjoy on a daily basis - I like a wide variety, from Duke Ellington to REM to Black-eyed Peas.

Date people from United States. Hmmm....I'm a 53 year old, divorced, father of two wonderful daughters. One is a 27 yr old wounded combat veteran with two combat tours in Iraq (just disability retired in Dec 11) and the other lives in Heaven. I'm 6'1, 235, brown hair and blue eyes. I have a serious side that comes out, but only when necessary. I have a great sense of humor (so I've been told) and my match would need the same. Life can be too short and too difficult without laughing a lot. I value greatly the attributes of integrity, honesty and caring for others. Something I saw when still in high school was a film of the, "Duty, Honor, Country" speech that GEN Douglas MacArthur gave at West Point and his words and commitment have been part of my life ever since.
I enjoy many things, but cannot do some of the more extreme activities any more, due to injuries received both as a Soldier and as a police officer. I have never been interested in things like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, bungee jumping or running a marathon, but I will support you in your endeavors! I like concerts, live sporting events, great music (have more than 450 gigabytes of digital music-all kinds), live theater, videos, games and most motorsports, both two and four-wheeled. I raced motorcycles until I was 18 and still enjoy riding all these years later. I will someday write and might even finish the four books I've started writing over the last 15 years. I believe that, in spite of what I've done in my careers, the most important and satisfying thing I've ever done was to be a Dad. My daughter and I enjoy a fantastic friendship and are very close, even though she lives 500 miles away from me. I will be interested in relocating at some point in the near future (perhaps closer to my daughter, but definitely in a warmer, sunnier place than the North Coast).

In addition to being a multi-tour combat vet, I am also a sensitive father of daughters. My eldest followed me into the service and my youngest was working toward being an attack helicopter pilot. Both of my children are adopted. My son is African American and currently is stationed at Camp Pendleton. He is a US Marine. My daughter was adopted from Viet Nam. She is 16 and lives with my ex wife.
