Meet people from California, United States. Hi, I guess I start by talking about myself, hmmm, not something I do, so I hope you'll be patient with me. I've actually been told that I'm a very patient person. I don't agree when I'm getting on the freeway, but ok. I would call myself introverted as you might get from reading this short profile. I have to say that I am somewhat intelligent and handy around the house. I spend most of my time in the garage working on projects and repairing Harleys and friends cars. I am good with my hands and will fix just about anything. Rarely do I say no to a request to look at something that is broken or to design some parts for a friends bike. With all of this, I do not normally go to bars or night clubs. I will sometimes dance but isn't high on my list of fun things to do. For leisure, I will go fishing in my kayak or go for a ride on my Harley. Once a year I try to get out hunting, but haven't been now for 2 years. I try to get my dogs walked 2-3 times a week. We walk about 3 miles...sometimes 4.
I would like to find a lady who know isn't looking for me to entertain them. I am most comfortable in laid back settings with a few close friends. I do enjoy concerts, especially outdoor concerts. You really don't need to like fishing or hunting, just accept that I do. I have a strong belief in God and his son, my savior, Jesus and it would be great to find somebody that has similar beliefs. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, moved to San Diego during high school and never left. Graduated from San Diego State.
I am a successful, established professional, kind, easy going, intelligent, active, fun, fit normal guy with good values and a big heart. I work for myself which affords me a comfortable lifestyle while still maintaining flexibility in my schedule. Nowadays, I work to live instead of living to work. I enjoy my work, but cherish my own time. It's nice to have an equal balance of work and play time. Money can't buy you happiness or time.
My current list of favorite activities includes golf, skiing, yoga, fitness, running, tennis, playing with my golden retriever. I'm pretty much game for new adventures. Looking to learn how to SUP and hopefully find a golf, tennis and ski partner.

Enjoy being active; kayaking, camping, bike riding, playing sports (ok, I admit, I'm a little competitive - just a little) day at the park, playing with kids. Love stimulating conversation; values, politics, religion,meaning of life, solving the problems of the world.
What else would you want to know about me? I'm real handy around the house. I designed and build my house 5 years ago. I don't drink, but I don't need too, to fall off my chair laughing- my best times in life have been sitting around with friends or family and laughing about "who knows what". It's okay if you drink - no problems as long as you get happier the more you drink, My 3 children mean everything to me, I have two adult children (is that right adult -children? sure it is, just sounded odd)and a wonderful 10 year old that lives with me the majority of the time. Oops, I guess they all do. I have coached all their sports teams, from baseball, soocer, basketball and taught their martial arts. I like to cook, ok - I love to eat too. Sorry don't like sushi -yuck, but I do like fish. I'm sure my kids would want me to tell you "Please, Don't ask him to sing"

I have a B.A. in Economics and spent a majority of my early career working my way up the corporate ladder, eventually spending time as a corporate v.p. of finance. It was financially rewarding but not much else. I left the finance field many years ago to pursue my quest to be a teacher. I've been a teacher for over 10 years now. So, I don't make the big bucks, but I walk down the halls of an elementary school and I get over hundred hugs a day, many from kids I don' even know, but they know where they can go for a little love and attention. That is worth all the money in the world to me. So, if I email you, or whatever and you are a woman looking for financial wealth, know that isn't me, but I'm taking a chance that maybe that isn't the most important thing to you either. If the money is that important, please forgive me for wasting your time, I totally understand if you don't respond - no worries, no judgement.
Okay, one more last thing (disclaimer of sorts -2)
In the spirit of honesty, I have been separated 15 months and 2 days as of July 20, 2012, it was unexpected and I have been taking care of the home and kids since. I spent 8 months, humbling myself, begging my wife and best friend of 22 years to come home. For me marriage has always been a forever thing, but it takes two. After 8 months and new information arose, I knew that life as we knew it was gone and time to move on. So after much prayer I have begun my quest for a new best friend and that forever thing. In order for one life to begin the old must pass, my lawyer is filing divorce papers this week. This may be too much info, but I sensed it was an issue for prospective "best friends "

Hardworking, successful guy, looking for his equal half. Don't like to go to bars to meet anyone. Looking for someone who shares my interest in working out, scuba diving, playing golf, being active. I do have my pilots licence, but am not current. Life is about spending time with someone you respect and really want to be with. Someone that you are always thinking about and want the best for, no matter what. I am still single because I did not want to settle for something that I did not feel right about. There is so much to say here and when people read it, everyone interprets these words differently, sometimes good and sometimes not so good.
