I live for adventure. I love going places and trying new things... I am well traveled. I spend much of my free time doing outdoor activities. I love physical activities though I have diverse interests, thus I am a bit of a dichotomy. I appreciate nice things, but they don't define me. I am extremely family oriented and have a young son that is absolutely amazing... He is my biggest passion... He has taught me so much about unconditional love, the strength of family values, the power of forgiveness, and patience. People gravitate to him/us. If you meet him you will love him too. I have had to make lifestyle adjustments, but it has been a welcome change. I've learned to run pushing the jogger, hike with a passenger on my shoulders, bike/cycle towing a trailer, and quickly jam tons of stuff through the x-ray machine at the airport (sorry if you have had to wait for us). He keeps me young and vibrant... He shares my passion for living and learning (he's learning Mandarin)... we are happy, funny, silly, and always ready to go on our next adventure. He's got me doing Tae Kwon Do with him... he is 4.5...
We recently ran to the top of Diamond Head he led the way (what a trooper), though he opted for the shoulder ride down. Hopefully we can do a 5k soon without the jogger. We are working on swimming, and anticipate a lot of pool time this summer, junior guards are just around the corner. Hopefully, we can do a tri one day. To totally shift gears... Recently, I tore out all the trees and shrubs in my backyard. I am creating an organic edible garden, kind of fun and rewarding. I am social and love to entertain my close friends... thus, my goal is to create (from my garden) fresh gourmet meals on the fly for our guests... I say "our guests" because hopefully you share my vision, enjoy entertaining our friends, and can teach me a thing or two on the gourmet side, or at least are willing to try... cooking together can be fun. A couple parts passion, a couple parts romance, a splash of wine, throw in some fun... recipe for a delicious evening...!
