Date a man from California, United States. Well, this is my story...
I was with what I thought would be my life long companion. We were together for off and on 10 years, and she wore my engagement ring for the last two years of our relationship. As far as I knew, everything was going well, and I thought she was happy. My father died last July, and I called my fiancee and asked her to come over to help with my Mom. My parents were Married for 60 years.
8 hours after my father died, my fiancee, tells me that she needs to take a break for a little bit, and after a short conversation, she agrees to stay around long enough for my Dad's funereal for the sake my of boys, my Mom and me. As soon as the funereal over a few days later, she's gone, no explaination, nothing. Found out through facebook freinds, two weeks later that she is in Hawaii with some guy she dated back in High School, which is why the big rush to leave. So it's a year later, and I'm trying this match.com thing, but it's not working.
Several of you ladies have sent me a wink or an e-mail, and then after I respond with a very safe and friendly response, I hear nothing back. The one who did respond back try to con me out of money within a few short days of conversation with her. I'll probably be leaving Match.com when my 3 months is over. it should would be nice to meet a good woman.

I have been happily divorced since 1999, and for the last 4 years, I have been both Mom and Dad, as both of my boys live with me.
