I have been given the great fortune to have had opportunities in which I have succeeded and have essentially done everything I have ever wanted. This includes raising two wonderful and incredible boys (14 11), for whom I moved to Southern California.
Before I start sounding too grandiose or dramatic, let me just say that many of the most incredible things that I have experienced in life have been simple and quiet. Like being completely alone on the beach watching the sunset. Or perhaps, sitting in an arboretum feeding the ducks in the pond and feeling the universe resonate through my being. I have an inner calm and a deep peace that helps me know that whatever happens, I will be ok.
While it took me years to accept that I was always called into a leadership position, it wasn’t until I viewed it simply as an exercise in working with others to create a whole that is larger than the sum of its parts. I have tried to approach all things in my life that way, practicing something of a Synergistic Serendipity.
