I’m a Golfer by love, a Smart-ass by genetics, a Computer-Wiz by career and a Motorcyclist by choice. Like to walk in the evening and (sometimes) work out in the morning. Love to cook and entertain on the weekends with friends, some have told me they'd rather come over to my "restaurant" than go out. An occasional cigar and scotch are a treat. I like to get stuff done on Saturday so I can goof-off on Sunday - either a round of Golf or a Cruise on the bike somewhere for lunch and a pretty sunset. My work schedule is fairly flexible, so I can get/take time off pretty easily. Go to many live concerts and like almost any kind of music, especially Pink Floyd, Reggae and Country (not at the same time!). I am a clean-cut hippie and might be old but got to see most of the GOOD bands! It's fun to people-watch at the mall and I actually like to do yard work - I get a good sense of completion and afterwards that beer tastes soo good! I hate doing dishes, painting and washing cars. I tell the truth, no matter what. I'll tell you what I think if you ask me, and probably even if you don't! Please do the same! I have been learning a little about Zen and my favorite new word is EQUANIMITY. I like long weekends to travel around our beautiful state and hope to visit British Colombia and Australia. Some activities I haven’t yet had the chance to try but want to – Horseback riding, Volunteer to a worthy cause, Martial arts class, Yoga. I know a little bit about a whole bunch of things and a whole lot about a few things. Sorry, I'm not a cat person and there is no room in my life for Liars, Cheaters or Black Widows - been on the bad end of those a couple of times. I'm reasonably self-sufficient and mostly house-broken - was a single dad for 15 years. I will hold the door for you, I know when to say I’m sorry – and mean it, I love my Mom(s), I will TRY to learn how to dance, The seat will be down, paper will be on the roll and a water for you on the nightstand, I've been accused of being a hopeless romantic - greeting cards for no reason, roses and raunchy texts; candles, incense and backrubs in the tub...This is starting to sound conceited/selfish, so please be assured I'm gonna' be very curious about and open to your likes and feelings too, so fess up and show me something new!
I think most everything comes down to:
1) Be Nice.
2) Accept that sometimes life is great and sometimes it sucks.
3) Laugh!

I've always had a healthy lifestyle and maintained my mind and body by exercising and eating right. People say I look years younger than I actually am - can't say I ever get tired of hearing this. My friends would say i'm loyal, trustworthy, fun to be around, athletic and well preserved. I am secure, well educated, enjoy my job and can laugh at myself. I love the outdoors and enjoy most all outside activities. However, I also enjoy a challenging game of chess, board games and cards. Having grown up skiing in New England, I soon realized the West Coast was where it was at. I love to be mentally and physically challenged and found that at a little place called Jackson Hole, WY. Best skiing i've ever come across. Even though i'm partial to New England, i've developed a certain fondness for CA.
However, I find it's not as easy to meet people here. I'd like to meet someone who is confident, thoughtful, passionate and knows how to have fun yet can also be serious. I was brought up knowing how to treat a lady with dignity and respect. In my book, chivalry is not dead. I enjoy stimulating conversation, movies, nice dinners, holding hands, walks, happy hours and wine tasting to name a few. But I also enjoy the quiet times - just not alone.
