Date someone special from United States. I'm outgoing, social and enjoy meeting new people. I'm a little goofy sometimes and have been known to 'break out' in song during work meetings. Don't let that you scare you off it's usually quite amusing.
I'd like to meet someone who complements (and balances) my less than serious side. Someone who enjoys going out for dinner or drinks on a 1-1 basis or with a group of friends would be great. I like self motivated, independent women who are comfortable with new surroundings. My friends and family are important to me and I'd prefer someone who would be willing to share this part of my life.
Okay all that sounds pretty boring and unoriginal so a little more boring stuff about me: I spent part of my younger life in the Navy serving onboard a nuclear powered submarine. The crew and I had many adventures (and some misadventures) during our many ports of call in countries in the western and central Pacific. I would love to find a way back to traveling the world again and it’s always better with a travel partner. I have a college education and a solid career in the telecommunications industry and have been employed in this field for 20 years.
I enjoy weekend trips to the coast or to Lake Tahoe or anything to beat the Sacramento summer heat. I like dining out, or having a drink in a nice restaurant. I enjoy working out at the gym, golfing and watching sports (but not to the point of distraction from a relationship interest). I am quite handy with all home improvement tools and have remodeled my entire home all by my lonesome. So if you need something fixed at your house I’m your guy.
I have somewhat of a dry, witty sense of humor but can also go the other way and just be outrageously silly. I don’t take myself too seriously (most of the time) and can laugh at most of the situations I’ve gotten myself in and out of.
I’m still an old fashioned guy at heart and follow that basic concept when dating. I don’t really believe in �going dutch’ when I ask someone out to dinner but understand times have changed and that sometimes my date might feel more comfortable paying her own way.
