I am new to the Bay Area in 2010 after many years in Boston - shed lots of old stuff and drove cross country which was a wonderful adventure! I work for myself as psychologist, and Shamanic practitioner and teacher and really love my work. I also am choosing to down size and work less to pursue other things that matter to me - studying shamanism, being outdoors, traveling, having time to be with my partner. I am currently traveling for a week about every 6 weeks to teach.I am free to relocate for the right partner and the right place.
I'm very down to earth and love new adventures. I still love rock 'n roll and motown - also reggae, world, jazz, folk, drum, and have many values and sensibilities from the 60's. I love being out in nature - walking/hiking, the coast and beach, swimming/snorkeling. I tried scuba and loved it and would like to do more, loved swimming with wild dolphins, and would also like to do more boating/sailing. I enjoy dancing, live music, theater and good movies, and of course all the wonderful food in the Bay area. I like sleeping in on weekend mornings (maybe with you?) but the right adventure will get me up early. I love to travel - weekend getaways, exploring new places (not as part of a tour group!). I enjoy going to shamanic classes, groups, and fire ceremonies and spiritual/personal growth workshops. I'm open to new adventures and what you love. Politically, I am left of center, and used to work in progressive politics as an organizer. (These days, my political activities are mostly via email.)
