I was raised with the best exegetes in the world, spending summers on hard benches in gorgeous surroundings studying Greek and Hebrew texts. My mother was the daughter of a Dutch theologian. She was a singer, wrote 8 books and had 5 children. I grew up in an international setting among diplomats and clergy. Many years ago , after being in a religious arranged marriage, I ran away from my family to model in Europe. I had fun being on my own for the first time in my life. And eventually I also modeled in Dallas , NYC, and Chicago. I met such interesting people. For example, in Chicago I found Stuart Brent's bookstore and met 2 men who used to hang out with Stuart at his round table. Their names were Studs Terkel and Saul Bellow. We had discussions for hours on literature and theology. Good memories. I also became a close friend with a nephew of Nikolai Tessla's who I met while hanging out at the lunch counter of the Drake hotel...some good adventures. I reunited with my father the last 7 years of his life, but I loved beauty and needed time to explore the world apart from religion, so time away from them was great. While modeling in Europe I learned Pilates and then (after college) I formally certified as a Pilates teacher in NYC. I am an excellent teacher, incorporating a broad range of healing modalities into my work. I see both medical clients and athletes, men and women alike. I was with someone in NYC in a cozy Fifth Avenue apartment for 19 years, a man I met while modeling in 1986. We were bicoastal, spending a lot of time in L.A. He became ill and I lost him in January of 2005. After taking a long pause from dating, I'm looking for new companionship, fun, romance, and eventual marriage. I believe in love. I've been around lots of fame and money, but it doesn't interest me unless I am in love with the man! Money is a useful tool, not an end in itself. I do like elegant things, nature, movies, museums, organic food, music, art, photography, playing, laughing, and keeping things simple. Even though I've grown up with an active social life, the older I grow the more I enjoy my privacy, and I work hard to maintain it. I am spiritual and sensual. I say what I mean.
