Date a soulmate from California, United States. My default mode is that of a shy homebody, but I'm always willing to try new things. I'm not very good at describing myself, but I guess my friends would say that I am kind, thoughtful, creative and loyal. I love going to museums, movies and taking walks. When I have a day off at home, I like to find some craft project to work on or lay down with a good book. If I had the time and money (and someone to go with), I would travel the world!
I'm looking for someone who will be as good to me as I will be to him. Someone understanding and committed who will make me smile.
Meet a girl from California, United States. I laugh at my own jokes. I've traveled all over the world. I dislike being told what I cannot do. If I had one wish, it would be to grow wings upon command - I don't care how clich? it is to want to fly, I do!
Originally from Philadelphia, I just graduated from Emory and am setting up camp in the bay (do people say that? do i have to say "area"?). I like discussing religion, philosophy, moral dilemmas, and I love a good sense of humor. My mischievous streak rarely gets me into real trouble, but I aim to make average nights interesting. I love hiking and rock climbing and lying under the sun (beach or grassy hill preferred). If you jive with trails, birds and the occasional forest nymph, we'll get along great.
Date single girl from California, United States. I am curious about everything and require to have something to read at all times. I am completely nerdy and also a sorority girl. I love a good adventure and never want to be completely settled. Surprises make life more fun. I love to stay active whether it be horseback riding, a run, or a hike in the Berkeley hills.
Meet someone special from California, United States. Perhaps the first thing you should know about me is that I absolutely abhor writing bios. It's probably some sort of mental block, really: I spend so much time writing fiction that writing the truth seems so dull in contrast.
My name is Lauren, and I grew up in New York. Upstate, though, where there are more cornfields and apple orchards than skyscrapers. When people in England asked me what I missed most about home, my knee-jerk response was always, "Apples."
I spent four months studying English Literature in Leeds last year, and stick by the belief that this experience changed me in so many positive ways. I've grown so much as a person since then. I was lucky enough to be able to see the United Kingdom, as well as a bit of Europe, and as a result of that my love for travel will probably never be completely sated. I think I'm probably happiest when I'm out trying new things in unfamiliar places with people who throw themselves into the situation as completely as they can.
That's quite possibly the most important thing about me, actually: when I like something, I tend to love it. I develop fervent devotions to things I enjoy: writing, reading, soccer, films and television shows, recipes, card games, blue jeans. Since social and explorational experimentation of all kinds has recently been added to this list of obsessions, I can pretty much guarantee that I'll be thrilled to try new things.
About a year ago, on what could be described as "a whim," I moved to Berkeley. I absolutely love the Bay Area, and am looking forward to taking advantage of everything it and the rest of California has to offer. I'd love to find someone who would be willing to wander with me, either as a guide or a fellow explorer.
