I have been a Registered Nurse for nineteen years, seven of the nineteen years l was a Travel RN. My assignments have taken me from Canada to the Middle East, over to the Eastern Seaboard of America, then to California. I continue to Nurse, but no longer as a Traveler. I still enjoy Nursing. My patients are my teachers, they show me how to live and how not to, to appreciate what l have now, to live in the present.
The allure of travel has always enticed me. I have traveled throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, been to Costa Rica and Mexico and went on safari in Kenya. I see more travel in my future, perhaps even retiring in another country, but with you…..
I enjoy being physically active and staying healthy. So, it is important to me that my companion shares that goal. Having been active all my life, l donРІР‚в„ўt see that changing, just the nature of the activity. Mountain Climbing and extremely long hours of hiking are probably a thing of the past, although l could be talked into a little light rock climbing if someone out there is interested and able.
I love the outdoors, miss the camping, not the hard ground, so sleeping arrangements involve softer options, can you say RV or whatever else….let me look at a black sky with bright stars please….love the water, to look at or go rafting on, but don’t make me swim, I will drown. Sorry, l don’t float either…my thing is yoga, weights, hiking, walking, biking…entice me with an adventure.
I love animals, unless youРІР‚в„ўre a very large spider in which case all bets are off. I have four cats and one well behaved, non caged, potty trained bunny, all rescue animals. I volunteer at an animal shelter walking dogs.
