Date a soulmate from United States. It's gotten to the point where all the men who say I'm "their type" are way older than I am, or they're already married. While it's flattering (really, it is!), "my dad's age" and "already wed" are not on my list for the perfect man. So I'm looking for a my-age, single guy with perspective enough to appreciate a fun, old-souled, successful, loyal, kind, witty, occasionally foul-mouthed lady. :)
I love traveling, scuba diving, skiing. My job (hustling country music) sometimes keeps me from these hobbies, but it pays the bills and makes me extremely happy. It also teaches me new things all the time; I recently learned to two-step.
I'm from the east coast and am open to moving back in the somewhat-distant future, but for now I'm very happy with my life on the Best Coast. I'm content being single, which means I'm not overly "picky" but I'm not jumping into relationships just to avoid being alone. Want to get married (not right now) and have kids (definitely not right now). Mostly just want someone to explore San Francisco and beyond with me, someone to make out with on a regular basis, someone who wants to go on adventures and laugh in the dark before we fall asleep each night.
PS - While I know Berkeley is a foreign land for most people in SF, don't fear it. We have decent food and beer here, and paved roads. The local currency is the US dollar. It's not so bad.
