I like country, jazz, rock & roll, Bocelli is a favorite, it just depends on what I’m doing. I was just as comfortable wearing Versace and going to the Oscars (such an amazing experience!) as I was wearing jeans and cowboy boots and exploring Manhattan. I can hold my own in the board room, but love to be barefoot in the kitchen or my garden. I love to entertain! I’m feminine and girlie but not frilly or fragile. I’m not particularly intelligent but I’m pretty smart. I’m affectionate, fiercely loyal, passionate, adventurous, can be serious when I need to be and love to be silly as often as possible. Life is short and meant to be thoroughly embraced and enjoyed! I love to putter around the house and work on DIY projects. Yep – I have my own tool box and a Home Depot card! (Don’t you just love their rental department?) I’m growing my first vegetable garden and enjoy the results. I’m an earlier riser (5 am) and love the quiet before the rest of the world wakes up. Bubble baths are one of my favorite ways to unwind… with candles, Bocelli and a glass of wine. I love to dance and sing while puttering around the house – even though I’m terrible at both.
I am truly blessed to work for such a worthy cause (13 yrs). Knowing that at the end of the day, weРІР‚в„ўve made a difference in the lives of families whom struggle with issues, which are beyond my comprehension, is so rewarding. ItРІР‚в„ўs a non-profit and IРІР‚в„ўm the director over our marketing and development efforts.
Did I mention I’m really affectionate? A great bear hug – bring it on. I love to hold hands and cuddle up on the sofa. And kissing, wow, a kiss tells it all. Whether it’s a good morning kiss, a sneak up behind me and give me a kiss on the cheek or a make-my-knees-go-weak kiss, I think kissing is incredibly sexy.
What am I looking for in a relationship? Well, someone who I can be totally comfortable with and who will embrace my silliness. (My daughter thinks it’s hilarious that I dance to the beat of the washing machine.) I dream of starting the day off with “ I miss you too much” kiss the moment we woke up. Lazy Sunday mornings with coffee and the paper in bed or on the patio, I’ll get the first cup and you can get the second. Then I’d put your on dress shirt and make breakfast/brunch, with your help of course. Long moments of quiet kisses and looking to each other’s eyes can happen at any given moment. Go ahead – take my breath away. Many spontaneous hugs are also welcome. After work we’d talk over the events of the day as we shared a glass of wine while I rubbed your feet. And some days you’d rub mine.

What I’m looking for in you…
I’m looking for a guy who is self confident in his successes but not arrogant. Kind, compassionate, generous, affectionate and fun to hang around with are also qualities that I’m looking for; someone who doesn’t take himself too seriously and has a healthy sense of humor. Someone who will cuddle up and watch old movies on the rare rainy day but likes to be on the move most of the time. Not looking for someone who is hyper – but a couch potato simply won’t do. Someone who is protective but not possessive, one who knows who they are, is tender hearted, who doesn’t hesitate to help others, someone who also likes hugs and kisses. I want a love to do stuff with, live life with; walks in the rain (grew up in Seattle, LOVE rain/storms), drives up the coast, movies, poker games, quiet meals at home or out with friends/family. Don’t mind alone time, but don’t like being lonely. I want a partner in life not a roommate.

Meet a woman from California, United States. Here's hoping my Soulmate has a beach house!
Having been single the past several years, I have decided to search this site to see who's out there! I am looking to meet a new friend, lover and companion! I've raised my two sons alone. Both are wonderful men and best friends. Each have formed their own lives, so now It's time I do the same! I have two beautiful Grand-dogs, Golden Lab and a Handsome Black Lab.
If you like the beach and have a love of travel, that's a definite plus!!! I visit my son in California frequently and would love to meet a dinner companion. Send me a note....and perhaps we can get together.
When not on the coast, I'm usually working and doing the ordinary usual things you do in life. In my free time, I will opt for a run thru the trails, exploring antique shops, gardening and finding exquisite new garden shops, road trips with my camera, (always carry a camera!) playing the piano, watching football, wining with my friends and looking for new adventures.
