I know that over time the little things can slip away and be lost in the dull, day-to-day existence we all fall into. I understand that. But who a person is deep down inside never changes. That can take some time to find and/or get to know. I'm not in a big hurry here to jump into an "instant" relationship. I believe maintaining your individualness (if that's a word - it probably isn't, but it works here) is important. The concept of "two becoming one" sounds good in theory, but I also believe that standing as one on your own in this world and sharing your life with another person makes for a happier and stronger life together. If you're strong on your own, you have a better ability to be there for someone else if and when they need you.
