To start, I am an engineer working in aerosol design and manufacturing. I would like to point out that engineering and science is awesome and quite frankly, I am obsessed with it all. I will also take the opportunity to say I do NOT like TOS and I think Kirk is a slut. Phew, now that is out of the way.
Currently, I am looking for more excitement. I love my dog, I take him on walks. Sometimes I get out for the evening, and most of the time I donРІР‚в„ўt. Granted, I have been making many life adjustments, so given some time, I will equilibrate. But the thing is, I need more adventure. Perhaps you can relate: there are so many things I would like to go do in the city - like museums and galleries - but the thought of going alone seems, well, lonely. Most of my friends live in the city, so for small excursions, like the movies, I fly solo. I do enjoy this alone time, but who doesnРІР‚в„ўt enjoy hand-holding in the dark?
When I get a spark of inspiration, it can take me in so many different directions. I love to paint, so at times I take to the canvas. When my brain is in need of stimulation, I like self-learning . Recently, I have been learning more about quantum mechanics and programming. If you are well versed in either, I would like to pick your brain.

I'm in graduate school and interning at a stop motion studio. I'm a busy lady and don't get a chance to meet new people all that often. So here I am, giving this a try!
Let's see, I'm outgoing, career driven, and above all love to laugh! (I make cartoons for a living, go figure). I like going camping but there's never enough time. I go on a massive camping trip with all my friends every year, my favorite annual vacation!
When I'm not working my best friend and I spin fire with hula hoops and sometimes just throw a regular hoop around and work on tricks for fun. I stay pretty active since I try to make the time to practice even just for a few minutes everyday.
Sometimes I like urban exploration adventures like going to Urban Ore and finding something I can make into something else or fix. When I get bored, I teach myself how to make or do something new.
I'm a nerdy girl, a huge doctor who fan, love joss whedon and very much enjoy making jokes about 90s tv shows. I still kinda feel like a kid on the inside, I still like having snowball fights and watching cartoons. But you'd be hard pressed to find an animator who isn't just a big kid with a job, most of us really and truly are children at heart, that's the best part of our gig, no one expects you to grow up all the way.
I read a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy fiction. I went to college and read the classics and all the other sophisticated lit but now just really like to read for fun so I pick up murder mysteries and crazy stuff on other worlds. I like super imaginitive stuff that sweeps you off your feet. For example, "The Time Traveler's Wife" is one of my favorites, amazing modern world fantasy. i cry at the end every time, books that move you, thats real magic. I also really love historical fiction, especially mysteries! A good "who done it?"is the best! I don't get a lot of time to curl up with a good book so I've really gotten into audiobooks I can listen to while I work. Christopher Moore has the best audiobooks, but be warned if you listen on headphones, people will look at you funny when you start laughing out loud to yourself. Just sayin'
What am I looking for?
I'm Looking for some one who's honest, non judgemental, funny, open to new things, easy going, someone whos not easily embarrassed and can laugh at themselves. I'm looking for someone who is as driven as I am and has big dreams they're going for. Nothing is more attractive than an outgoing man with goals and a great sense of humor. Someone who's social, motivated, fun, gotta be fun, open and straight forward. Being a hard worker also means playing hard. I'd like a guy who likes to let loose and hang out after work, takes his job seriously but enjoys his life. I'm a glass half full kinda person so Positivity is key. :)
I'm an artist and travel in some odd social circles at times, I need some one who's not going to make snap judgements and is willing to pick up a book and flip through the pages, not just see the tacky cover and decide its not worth reading.
I think I'm looking for what everyone's looking for. Some one who gets me. Some one who I can go to the beach with and build sand castles, go to a pub or a party with, or just curl up at home with a good movie and Chinese take out. Some things become cliche for a reason. I'm looking for something real and serious but I don't expect it to happen over night, friendships really are the best foundations for relationships right?

Meet single girl from Berkeley, United States. My interests run the gamut, from travel and the outdoors to good food and movies. I studied abroad in France and Egypt and spent a year teaching in English in Turkey shortly after graduating from college. I can't wait for my next trip to the Middle East; just don't ask me when that might be. I spend a daily chunk of time running the trails in the American River Canyon, and generally love being outdoors. I finished my second marathon last October, but I'm not competitive enough to cross over into the land of obsessive runners. I also love to cook. I have been told by many of my closest friends to skip grad school and open a bakery, but for now I'll just keep the cakes for friends and family. All things baked, and good food in general, are definitely weaknesses (or passions?) of mine. Luckily this fits well with that little aforementioned running hobby! Bars and clubs tend to be outings I do only when prompted to by friends. It can be fun, no doubt about it, but my personal preference would be a good glass of wine and a movie, or live theater, or exploring a new city...the list goes on. I am open-minded, however, and embrace an opportunity to try something new.
